I'm Jérôme Pernoo, cellist, conductor and conservatory professor.

I've always had a passion for music and teaching.

I've been teaching for 35 years! I first set up my own workshops in Chatellerault (France), then was hired as a cello professor at the Royal College of Music in London, then seven years later at the Conservatoire de Paris, where I taught for over fifteen years.

My goal has always been to pass on information to future generations:

I've taught, I've written a book, I've played at Carnegie Hall, the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, the Berlin Philharmonic... I've recorded for Deutsche Grammophon, DECCA and Sony. I created a festival and the Paris Chamber Music Center, inviting a large number of young musicians to play, to experience the stage, to go further and further in developing their artistic skills.
